This year’s Chinese New Year has been quite hectic. Today’s already the 4th day of Chinese New Year. Two weeks before Chinese New Year started, the performances and events have already begun at the shopping malls.   Lion Dances What’s Chinese New Year without a lion dance? I happen to love lion dances. The acrobatic lion dance is a lot more exciting – the lion walks around on poles that are stuck to the ground. There have been numerous lion dance performances in Klang Valley during the festive season.   Swingin’ New Year e@Curve had a unique Chinese New Year performance – a 1920s style dance… The songs they used brought back a lot of memories to old folks in the building. The costumes are glittery and colorful.
