The Photomarathon made its annual appearance in Kuala Lumpur on 11 October 2014. The venue was, once again, Berjaya Times Square. The event was run a little differently this year. Theme 1 was announced at 9:05am – Forms of Nature. Contestants could begin to upload their photographs at 9:30am. Theme 1 closed at 12pm, and Theme 2 was announced (Independent) five minutes after that. The same procedure was applied – Theme 2 photographs could be uploaded between 12:30pm and 3pm, and then Theme 3 was announced at 3:05pm – Green Life. Wong Tze Wah Comedy Talk Show Ticket Launch

Comedian Dayo Wong Tze-Wah started doing stand-up comedy in Hong Kong in the 90s, and has held numerous talk shows under his belt with different topics. All met with overwhelming responses. His new talk show, “Absurd is Normal”, has 11 record breaking sell-out talk shows soon to take place at the Hong Kong Coliseum. Presented by Spritzer, and organized by Star Planet, the Malaysian edition will be staged on January 31st, 2015 at the Putra Indoor Stadium at 8pm. This is Wong’s first performance in Kuala Lumpur, in a large-capacity venue with over 10,000 seats, on a spectacular center-stage with 360-degree views. Today was the official ticket launch. Although the tickets were only on sale from 11am at the Boulevard at Paradigm Mall, fans had already begun queuing up early in the morning. When I reached the venue at 10am (and I thought I was early), I was shocked to see that the queue had already gone past Chili’s. I quickly took my place at the end of the queue and resigned myself to a two or three-hour wait. Luckily for me, I met up with a friend. She told me that there was a priority ticketing lane for GRSPP members. I registered online on her phone, and moved over to the priority lane immediately. I also managed to get a 10% discount for the tickets, plus a poster and a “free gift” (it’s just a notebook, but it does have Dayo Wong’s picture on it).
