Today marks the International Women’s Day. Although it is not widely acknowledged as an important date in Malaysia, it does serve an important function – to remind people every year of half the human race. We have traveled far from ancient times, when women were not counted as important as livestock, to the present day, where (almost) the whole world has recognized the important role that women plays in everyday life. KL Bird Park Visit

I’ve not really paid much attention to birds before. They were there, they were overhead, and sometimes, they were a pest. My visit to the KL Bird Park last week showed me another side to them. Featuring many species of birds, the park boasted a large free-fly aviary, creating a natural habitat for its inhabitants.
