Sushi, Anyone?

Posted by on Dec 16, 2018 in Personal

It’s been a looonnngggg time since I had Japanese food. Sushi Hiro opened in SS2 a few months ago. I’ve passed by a number of times, but have never gone in. On Friday, I finally decided to try it out. The tables and chairs were standard, and the belt took up most of the shop. The menu was impressive. Don, udon, sashimi – they were all there. The food was great. I had the Salmon Don, and it was filling. The price was also reasonable. The rice and a jug of green tea only set me back RM17.90. I’d definitely say that this place is now on my place of favorite...

Another Medal…

The Photomarathon was yesterday. This time, there were a lot more participants. The registration started at 7am. My friend and I reached the registration at 7.03am, and there was already a looonnnngg queue. The event T-shirt this year was also a bit of a surprise. The themes this time were a bit more challenging. There was also a special sponsor’s theme. Theme 1 – Hidden Theme 2 – Beauty of Earth Theme 3 – Fragile Special Theme – Life in the Sun There was an extra Canon camera keychain at the end. The completion medal this year was the first in a series of three – a metal flash lens. I can’t wait for the next two...

Mini World

Today I finally had a chance to visit MinNature Malaysia. I’ve been really interested in taking a look at this place since they opened. The details were superb. All the models were to scale, showing an amazing attention to details. The models were mostly printed on 3D printers, and attached using super glue. Some of the models came with lights, sounds and smoke. The trains could even move! My hat’s off to the amazing people who put this together. Some of the pictures I got from my visit (more available on my FB album): With their ongoing Merdeka promotion, it’s definitely a good time to go pay a visit! I’m already planning my next visit...
