And it’s 2018!

Posted by on Jan 1, 2018 in Celebrations

There goes another year… 2017 went by really fast. The same malls came up with fireworks this year. The ones at Mutiara Damansara were nicer this year. Less creative, but they were shot higher (I had to adjust my camera a few times). Here’s to hoping that 2018 is a better year all around (there’s an 8 at the back of the year number this time…...

New Style Mamaks?

This little Hulk’s a real poser. Peek-a-boo? We’re scary… don’t come near us! If there was a prize, he’d get my vote for sure. I… want… your… bloooodddd… I don’t want to get on the wrong side of him either. Nice mask… That’s a lot of effort as well....

Posted by on Oct 20, 2017 in Celebrations

And Diwali’s over – that was fast. 2017 is almost over… it’s already the fourth quarter. Barring a few fireworks, it passed very quietly this year. I heard of a few performances in some of the major shopping malls, and there were kolams all over the place. But other than that… The kolam is drawn with chalk or rice to bring prosperity to homes. Hmm, maybe if I had a kolam in the house next Diwali, I’d be able to get...
