Fairview International School Kuala Lumpur celebrated Chinese New Year yesterday. Although the festival had officially started on 31 January 2014, the festivities would continue for 15 days, until Chap Goh Mei on 14 February. The celebrations started with a concert at 11:30am. Various students took to the stage, displaying their skills in singing, dancing, playing the Chinese drums and martial arts. The students and parents present were then treated to a lion dance show on the basketball field. The lion dance troupe was excellent, delighting the audience with their performance on the poles, and on the ground.
